According to Caribbean Life, the government of Grenada has announced the creation of its Diaspora Office. While I applaud this new initiative, I am forced to question the level of planning that went into the mere announcement of this endeavor. My issue with the announcement lies with the request in the Caribbean Life article, and on the Grenada Consulate website (grenadaconsulate.org), urging Grenadians to fill out a PDF form and fax, mail or email the document to the Consulate Office.
