To Anslem Clouden,
After the telecast of SLEM’s … THE PUBLIC’S RIGHT TO KNOW, I have been through others warned.
How could Stanley say that about the man?
Stanley could have an accident – we know he is a spy. He likes to walk, we’ll get him – I want you to tell him this time around, the jail will not be as nice as the last time. We’ll see he get boom up there. Tell Stanley the man respects him, even likes him but the man say Stanley can’t be trusted, he does his own thing and he is in the wrong camp. All Stanley old friends are with the man, tell Stanley he could get his own television station. Tell him back off, accident can happen. Can I remind you what caused this irritation? (See attachment)
Anslem I cant recall walking away from what I know to be right – I came up in the days of SUS (Suspicious Persons Act) – you are about to commit an arrest able offence – not even your legendary skills can get a client off that charge because you are guilty as charge. I learnt about intelligent black man being “stitched up” – study the period in which the song I shot the Sheriff was written – study the Mangrove trial in London – yes, I can encounter an accident but so can you, so can any of us. “IF WE MUST DIE…….” I will not talk to foot soldiers or the monkey – I am always ready to entertain the organ player. I noticed you have a ‘close relationship’ with Michael Baptiste; ask him – when I said that the government had a plan to kill Dr. Fletcher – where did the stunned reaction come from? What was the refrain? How did Stanley know? – His friends must have shown him something.
Mr Gairy had banking on Sundays, he had a Mongoose gang not to terrorise people but to eradicate a pierce – he moved against those he saw as being against action and progress. He too had the news read to him before it was cleared to be broadcast. Allegations of sexual favours linked to extra cash, cars bought for people in the news room and as the departed lawyer Kendrick Radix said, women had to be overviewed and under viewed. This I am told is presently the state in relation to a television station with linkages to the government. You may recall the song which says history repeating. Gairy saw UFO’s, he is alleged to have told his supporters, I am sending you to Ralphie for refreshments I am not telling you to beat anybody (pelters the Red Spot story)
People who sold the New Jewel newspapers were whipped like animals. Gairy manipulated and emasculated the police force, a similar state of affairs exist today. Gairy, as history records liberated Grenadians. Gairy is synomous with Grenada. Despite Gairy’s panache he over stayed his welcome, he ‘assumed’ Grenadians are a feckless people – they song songs G-O GO Gairy must GO. People on a demonstration at the old Pearls airport had live rounds of ammunition fired at them – unlike Sir Eric Gairy, Dr Mitchell style is yobish and given his difficulties, it is not unfair as I have said and now restate he is not a fit or proper person to hold the office of prime minister in Grenada. It is my right to say and do so without fear for my life. What I said on MTV and MTV can broadcast my comments without agents purporting to be representing the prime minister threatening to close down the television station, bringing Maitland to mere tears and imposing severe financial hardship on Errol Maitland.
The government of Dr. Keith Mitchell and I am clear about this has lost ‘the moral authority to govern’. Even well know professional criminals do not have so many allegations levelled at them – I say to my friends let others worry about accidents happening to me – I am ‘as safe as houses’. Anslem you may find what I am about to say of great interest. All successful politicians carer’s ends in failure – politicians laced in sleaze are disgraced, sent to jail or they take their own lives.
Best regards,
Stanley Charles
